Weeks of Solidarity with Ukrainian Anti-Authoritarian Resistance
Upcoming 4 Weeks of Ukraine Solidarity Events in Amsterdam
As we approach 4 years since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, we re-iterate the need to support Ukrainians as they face harsh conditions, relentless bombings, economic, social, and ecological devastation by Russia – a fascist state with a mission to destroy all forms of life in Ukraine in order to conquer the land.
Following Solidarity Collectives’ international call to action, we are excited to invite you to a series of events we have organised in various social spaces across Amsterdam. We will have film screenings, VOKUs, info-talks, live music, a music-listening session, and of course, tea, drinks, treats, and food. We will be collecting donations for our comrades at Solidarity collectives and other initiatives.
We welcome you to come and invite your friends and to join us as we stand in solidarity with Ukraine.

Original call to action from Solidarity Collectives:
Dear Comrades and Friends
As we enter the fifth year of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the war continues to devastate our communities. This winter, millions face relentless shelling while surviving weeks without electricity, heating, and sometimes even water.
Meanwhile, our comrades keep fighting on the front line in extreme conditions, with many wounded and others losing their lives. We need your solidarity to strengthen Ukrainian anti authoritarian resistance against Russian imperialism.
From 20 February to 6 March, we call on friends, comrades, and anti-authoritarian groups worldwide to take part in 2 weeks of Action.
We encourage you to organise:
– public demonstrations or direct actions
– benefit concerts, film screenings, exhibitions, or discussions,
– fundraising campaigns,
– street actions such as graffiti or visual interventions
Possible topics for talks and panels: influence of Russian propaganda and right-wing politics in the west; Russian shadow fleet and its environmental impact; international security risks and imperial violence; anarchist self-organisation and mutual aid; European rearmament and military service; police violence and repression; updates on the situation in Ukraine; Armed struggle and anti militarism etc.
No action is too small. Since 2022, every demonstration and every act of solidarity has helped keep Ukrainian resistance visible and has given us strength to keep fighting, despite the humanitarian crisis, daily missile and drone attacks by Russia.
We believe in the exchange of practices, experiences, and ideas across borders. The global rise of far-right movements makes international solidarity more urgent than ever. Supporting Ukrainians resisting Russian invasion must go hand in hand with supporting refugees and migrants everywhere, and with confronting authoritarian and nationalist forces globally.
Our collective would be interested in participating in your events, sharing knowledge, engaging in difficult discussions, and supporting your initiatives however we can. Together, we can strengthen a transnational network of anti-authoritarian solidarity that reaches beyond borders and languages.
