Queer resistance is global: solidarity with LGBTQ+ communities in Turkey

Photo from a pride protest with flags. At the top the text 'SOLIDARITY WITH THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITIES OF TURKEY, on 12th-13th September, Turkish authorities cracked down on
multiple LGBTQ+ organizations and spaces, arresting dozens'. At the bottom the text 'AMSTERDAM - MUSEUMPLEIN, IN FRONT OF THE TURKISH CONSULATE, FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 18TH - 16:00, BRING FRIENDS, BANNERS AND YOURSELF!'

🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 In Turkey, the palace regime is targeting LGBTQ+ existence—shutting down NGOs, censoring digital community spaces, and raiding the social and public places where LGBTQ+ gather. State-sponsored hate will never destroy our collective power or our right to exist.

We are taking to the streets to raise our voices against systemic oppression and to build solidarity with those resisting in Turkey. No one is free until we are all free!
