On 15 May, we come together to remember, reflect, and stand in solidarity.
78 years after the Nakba, the reality of displacement continues, but so does resilience, culture, and resistance.

A space to honor the past, connect to the present, and hold on to hope for the future.

PART 1

• 17.00-17.30:
  INTRODUCTION AND WELCOMING by Utrecht4Palestine (U4P)

• 17.30-18.00:
  CEREMONIAL WREATH LAYING by representatives from Utrecht municipality, council members, and collectives of the Palestine Solidarity Movement in Utrecht

• 18.00-18.10:
  POETRY

PART 2

• 18.10-18.40:
  SPEAKER: MOHAMED KOTESH, PGNL (Palestijnse Gemeenschap NL)
  SPEAKER: TAHANI KISHAWI, Stichting Bisan

• 18.40-19.00:
  MUSIC PERFORMANCE & BREAK, Ahmed Abdulla will perform on the oud, and during the break, folk music will be played in the background. There will be a craft corner and you can also visit the information stand to learn more about the Nakba.

PART 3

• 19.00 - 19.30:
  SPEAKERS: SHAEY KOCK & DAVID PRINS, Erev Rav (Jewish collective)
  SPEAKER: CHIHIRO GEUZEBROEK, co-founder stichting Aralez
