This zionist protest is framed as an innocent memorial, but is steeped in racism. How can you show empathy for 1300 people on your side WITHOUT even mentioning the 186 000 on the other? Sweeping the vast majority of the victims under the rug frames the aggressor as the victim and helps the whitewashing of this genocide.
This whitewashing is so much worse at this critical time of terrorist Israeli escalation towards civilians in Lebanon, Palestine; gaza and west bank, Syria, and Yemen. The undertone of this demonstration is effectively: “do you remember why Israel is doing this? Because Hamas!”. This is unacceptable. Join us in taking a stance against this poisonous, shamelss, propaganda reinforcement. Join us in standing on the right side of history. Join us in the resistance!
