	Forum voor Democratie twee zetels in de gemeenteraad van\nLeiden te bemach
	tigen. Dit was net genoeg om te voorkomen dat hun nummer 3\,\nRobbin Stikv
	oort\, een zetel kreeg. Antifascistische onderzoekers doken in het\nverled
	en van hun kandidaten\, en Robbin viel met name op door zijn eerdere\ndeel
	name aan neonazistische fora en de poging om een gesigneerd exemplaar van\
	nMein Kampf te verkopen. Nu staat hij op het punt om geïnstalleerd te word
	en als\n'duoraadslid'\, een adviseur van de raadsleden van FvD.\n\nDe fasc
	istische retoriek van FvD mag nooit worden genormaliseerd. We hebben een\n
	plicht tegenover de slachtoffers van het fascisme om ons daar tegen te\nve
	rzetten. Hoewel het slechts een onderdeel van de strijd is\, kan dit binne
	n de\ngemeente de vorm aannemen van een cordon sanitaire — weigeren samen 
	te werken\nmet FvD en resoluut tegen hun voorstellen stemmen. In Nijmegen 
	stemde een\nmeerderheid van de gemeenteraad zelfs tegen de beëdiging FvD's
	 duoraadsleden.\nWat weerhoudt Leidse partijen ervan om hun voorbeeld te v
	olgen?\n\n-----\n\nLast March\, Forum for Democracy succeeded in winning 2
	 seats in Leiden's\nmunicipal council. This was just enough to keep their 
	#3\, Robbin Stikvoort\, from\ngaining a seat. Antifascist researchers delv
	ed into the past of their\ncandidates\, and Robbin stood out in particular
	 for his past participation in\nneo-nazi forums and the attempted sale of 
	a signed copy of Mein Kampf. Now\, he\nis about to be installed as a 'duor
	aadslid''\, an assistent to the council\nmembers of FvD.\n\nFvD's fascist 
	rhetoric should never be normalised. We hold a duty to the victims\nof fas
	cism to oppose it at every corner. Whilst it's just one part of the\nstrug
	gle\, in the municipality\, this can take the shape of a cordon sanitair —
	\nrefusing to collaborate with FvD and resolutely voting against their mot
	ions. In\nNijmegen\, a majority of the municipal council voted against the
	 swearing-in of\nFvD's duoraads-members. What's stopping Leiden's parties
